Reiki healing and Teaching

Reiki (pronounced ray-kee) is a gentle Japanese healing technique that promotes deep relaxation and overall well-being. It involves myself guiding universal life force energy through light touch. Reiki is a complementary therapy, often used alongside conventional medicine to support the body’s natural healing process.

At its core, Reiki is holistic, aiming to support the mind, body and spirit as a whole. It’s based on the idea that everything, including us, is made of energy. When this energy becomes low, blocked or unbalanced, we may feel stressed or unwell. Reiki helps restore balance and encourages the free flow of energy.

During a treatment, I place my hands gently on or just above key points of the body. I remain at each position until I feel the energy (known as ki or chi) strengthen and begin to flow freely again. Most clients find Reiki deeply calming, often leaving the session feeling lighter, clearer and more balanced.

While Reiki is spiritual in nature, it is not a religion and there is no belief system required to benefit from it.

I began my Reiki journey in 2009 and became a Master Teacher in both Usui and Karuna Reiki by 2016. I now offer both healing treatments and personalised Reiki training teaching one to one to those who feel called to explore this gentle but powerful therapy. Alongside the healing and teaching I offer a closed monthly Reiki circle for my students.

Reiki training
Reiki 1 is the first step on your personal Reiki path. In this course, you’ll explore the history of Reiki, learn grounding and protection techniques, and discover the practice of self-healing. You will receive your first attunement to the Reiki energy and be taught how to use the Usui System of Natural Healing, or yourself and those around you.

Reiki 2 builds beautifully on the foundations of Reiki 1. You’ll deepen your understanding of Reiki, learn powerful symbols, and be introduced to distant healing. You’ll receive a second attunement to a new level of energy. On completion, you’ll be qualified to treat members of the public and offer professional Reiki sessions, which is why Reiki 2 is often called the Practitioner level.

Reiki 3 Masters takes your Reiki to a higher frequency. You’ll receive the Master attunement and be introduced to the Master symbol, enabling even deeper healing for yourself and others. This level is a powerful personal journey as well as an expansion of your healing practice.

Reiki 3 Master Teacher is for those who feel called to teach Reiki to others. I provide all the tools, guidance, and personal support you need to become a confident and passionate Reiki Master Teacher, just as I was supported on my own journey.

I offer one-to-one training from my peaceful home treatment room in Yateley, Hampshire. Each course is held over a day and tailored to you. You'll be asked to complete simple case studies with supportive feedback sessions to ensure you feel confident and ready.

Reiki circle
Upon completing any Reiki level, you’ll be invited to join my established closed Reiki Circle, held monthly and exclusively for my students.
​
Since 2018 this has become more than a gathering, its a sanctuary. We’ve welcomed inspiring guest speakers, explored powerful forms of meditation, participated in gong baths and shared deeply personal moments from our Reiki journeys. Regular Reiki swaps allow us to both give and receive healing, keeping our energies balanced and our skills fresh.

This is more than a meet up - it’s a space of mutual respect, soulful connection, and continuous growth with currently 19 members.
