​A deeply traditional role. As for centuries, women have supported each other through pregnancy, birth, and beyond, whether it was mothers, sisters, aunts, or neighbours gathering around during this sacred time.

In today’s world, our communities look quite different, and with our healthcare system under increasing pressure, the continuous, personal support a doula offers has never been more valuable. There is something truly powerful about women supporting women!
​
As your doula, I’ll walk beside you with compassionate care, holistic guidance, and gentle encouragement. Every birth is unique, whether it’s your first or fifth, whether it's in nature or a hospital, it’s always a transformative and magical experience.
​
In a system where you may meet many healthcare professionals, I’ll be your steady, familiar presence. I’m not here to direct your choices or push a particular birth plan, I’m here to honour your choices. A positive birth experience looks different for everyone, and it’s okay for that vision to evolve as we go. Whatever your path, I’ll be here to support you.

A 2013 Cochrane review found that having a doula present during labour led to:

My Package
My Doula PackageI offer in-person Doula support within a 10-mile radius of my home in Yateley, Hampshire (GU46 7SU). This includes areas like Fleet, Wokingham, Crowthorne, Hartley Wintney, Hook, Camberley, Farnborough, Aldershot, and Farnham. Not sure if you’re within range? Our journey together begins with a friendly "getting to know you" phone call, followed by a relaxed in-person meeting where we can share more about what you need and how I can support you. Once we’ve agreed to work together, here’s what’s included:

Three 2-hour Antenatal visits. Each visit may include a nurturing Maternity Reflexology or Reiki session to support your body and mind, followed by a cuppa and a chat. We’ll talk through whatever you need, from writing your birth plan and preparing for postnatal life, to simply sharing your hopes, dreams, and any fears.

On-Call Support from 38 to 42 Weeks. I’ll be on-call and ready to support you during this time window. If your baby arrives outside of this period, I’ll do everything I can to still be there for you.

Continuous Labour Support. When labour begins, I’ll be by your side, offering calm, steady support from the moment you need me until you're settled and happy after birth.

One 2-hour Postnatal visits. This may include a soothing Maternity Reflexology or Reiki treatment to help support your recovery, including time for a cuppa and a catch-up to see how you're feeling.

One Additional 2-hour visit. A flexible visit to your home to offer whatever support feels most helpful, whether it’s emotional support, a helping hand, or simply a listening ear.

WhatsApp Support. You’ll have access to me via WhatsApp from the time of booking until six weeks after your birth, I’m here to answer questions, provide reassurance, and offer encouragement whenever you need it.

Reflexology and Reiki may not be ‘your cup of tea’. This is perfectly acceptable therefore I will spend the time with you helping you prepare for the birth and afterwards therefore my package price would not alter.
