Foot Reflexology

Reflexology

Reflexology is a gentle yet powerful ancient practice with roots in Egypt, India, and China. While its origins date back thousands of years, it was introduced to the Western world in the early 1900s through Dr. William Fitzgerald’s groundbreaking work in ‘zone therapy.’ Later, in the 1930s, Eunice Ingham further developed and refined the method, laying the foundation for modern Reflexology as we know it today.

This nurturing therapy involves applying targeted pressure to specific points on the feet, hands, ears, or face. These points are believed to correspond with different parts of the body. By stimulating them, Reflexology aims to support the body’s natural healing processes and restore balance from within.

Reflexology is a non-invasive, holistic therapy that can deeply relax both body and mind. It maybe helpful in relieving tension and reducing stress, an important factor in maintaining good health and building emotional and physical resilience.

One of the beautiful aspects of Reflexology is its accessibility. It can be enjoyed by people of all ages, from newborn babies to those receiving end-of-life care, and everyone in between.

Whether you’re seeking relaxation, stress relief, or simply some time to reconnect with yourself, Reflexology offers a safe, soothing, and supportive experience.
